Alvin Meyers is a retired Administrative Law Judge and served his post for the State of Illinois Department of Employment Security, where he presided over and determined unemployment compensation appeals. He served as Assistant Attorney General in the State of Illinois, and in the General Law Bureau. Alvin was recognized for his leadership skills as well as an ability to handle complex contracts surrounding professional indemnity, liability and litigation. After that he became a general Partner and Counsel to Fagel & Haber, who lead its State Court Litigation division. Alvin is a respected member of the Executive Committee of the Civil Practice in the Chicago Bar Association. His peers have praised him for his tireless work speaking at seminars and other engagements and for his service on behalf of the Chicago Bar Association in various capacities. He has authored numerous articles on civil practice and other subjects for the Chicago Bar Association and is an active member and head of various civic groups and organizations supporting civil rights, President of T.E.R. Northwestern University Law School Alumni Association and currently maintains a private law practice.
